Engineered for easy installation and to offer the same incredible quality and safety features Legrand’s GFCI product family is known for, the new radiant® Tamper-Resistant Self-Testing Simplex GFCI Outlet is perfect for providing power and code-compliant ground-fault protection wherever a dedicated, single outlet is needed. The Legrand Simplex 20A GFCI receptacle features a single, tamper-resistant outlet and self-tests automatically every three seconds for electrical safety you can trust. 20A outlets are ideal for use with larger appliances, as well as to meet regional needs (Chicago, Canada).

GFCI protection is required by code in bathrooms, kitchens, garages, basements, outdoor areas, and for any other outlets found within six feet of a sink or water source. GFCI outlets should always be used when replacing existing GFCI outlets during renovation.
